Financial Data Analysis
The founder of Highgate Predictions, David Skalak has over 16 years of experience in data mining and artificial intelligence. For the previous eight years, Dr. Skalak was employed by IBM as a Senior Data Mining Analyst predicting the behavior of IBM's business customers. Dr. Skalak has served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Computational Intelligence in Finance and has published more than 25 papers in the areas of machine learning and artificial intelligence. He has served on National Science Foundation (NSF) research review panels and engages in NSF-sponsored research with faculty members from the Cornell University Department of Computer Science. He has been invited to give a number of guest lectures at Cornell, including lectures at Cornell's Johnson School of Management.

Education
Dr. Skalak has an M.A. degree from Dartmouth College in mathematics, and a J.D. degree from the Harvard Law School. He has also performed applied mathematical research in Great Britain as a Fulbright Fellow. His Ph.D. is from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in Computer Science. Personal Weblog.
